Following AJ MacGinty’s removal from the Pacific Nations Cup finale against Japan, team medical staff have confirmed that he will be available for Rugby World Cup.

Nick Civetta remains on track in his recovery from a lower limb injury sustained in the PNC opener against Canada. His availability for Rugby World Cup will be contingent on the next several weeks of rehabilitation.

Currently, there are no other outstanding injuries to prevent pool players from selection to the World Cup. The Eagles will face Canada in a final test match on Sept 7 at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver after which the final 31-player squad for Japan will be announced on Sept 8.
