Men’s Collegiate All-Americans name full squad for match with All-Canadian University XVs in Glendale

First, Second and Third Team All-American honors will be announced following the game

GLENDALE, CO. – Following the first two phases of Selection Camp 2019, the Men’s Collegiate All-Americans have been named for one final assembly and matchup with All-Canadian University XVs on July 27, KO 3 PM MT, at Infinity Park in Glendale, CO.

The game will serve as a curtain-raiser to the senior Men’s National Team’s test match against rival-Canada. Tickets are on sale now at with both games broadcast LIVE on NBC Sports Gold

Head Coach James Willocks has selected 25 players for Glendale, primarily chosen from last month’s camps held in Norco, CA and New Rochester, NY.

Camps served as the first two phases of the second-annual Men’s Collegiate All-American Selection Camp with the match in Glendale serving as the final round. After the contest, First, Second and Third team All-American honors will be named.

“This years process has been very expansive and has allowed us to access a greater portion of the collegiate landscape,” said Willocks. “Our regional camps and games against Toronto and RUNY academy sides provided a great platform to identify emerging talent. We are excited for the challenge ahead against international competition and to build on the success of last year’s assemblies.”

The Men’s Collegiate All-American program has long been a coveted honor and important feeder to the senior U.S. Men’s National Team in both 7s and XVs. In order for players to attend assemblies, financial support from the community is crucial to lower or potentially fully cover costs.
