MLR Power Rankings Week 18: Seattle Climbing High

Seawolves are primed for a deep playoff run.

A wild weekend of results has wrecked havoc on the power rankings with six of the nine teams moving spots. Round 17 kicked off with the biggest upset of the season, where the NOLA Gold fell to the Houston SaberCats, 27-20. The loss sent NOLA down to 3rd and shot Houston up to sixth. Taking NOLA’s former sport of second are the Seattle Seawolves. They rose to second place overall after landing a huge win against the Glendale Raptors, 53-36. The loss also sent Glendale down to 7th. San Diego kept their spot atop the rankings after beating the Utah Warriors, 31-21. The Warriors were sent down to 8th in the rankings. The final game of the weekend between Austin Elite and Rugby United New York. RUNY won 27-7. The game did not have an impact on the rankings, as RUNY stayed in 5th and Austin were kept at the bottom.
