It’s all to play for this weekend in Major League Rugby action. The round kicks off with Houston SaberCats traveling to NOLA Gold. NOLA is coming off a tough loss at home to the San Diego Legion. A game where they not only lost the match, but first place in the standings too. Houston will be looking for their third win of the season. A rematch of last year’s championship game follows, with the Glendale Raptors hosting the Seattle Seawolves. A loss here would essentially all but end Glendale’s dreams of the postseason, but a win would well and truly keep their hopes alive. It will be a tall order, as the Seawolves are one of the form teams in the competition right now. On Sunday San Diego will take on the Utah Warriors, they’ll be hoping to secure the win in order to remain on top of the table and further extend their lead over NOLA and the rest of the competition. With Utah out of playoff contention they will be trying to play spoiler and build momentum ahead of next year. The final game of the week will pit Rugby United New York against Austin Elite. With a win by 10 or more points Rugby United will leap back into the top four and right back into the mix for the playoffs.
